Montessori Wooden Burger Play Set

Montessori Wooden Burger Play Set

Kids who love pretending to cook and serve will find plenty to do with this Montessori wooden burger play set for kids. It is a Montessori-inspired play food set built around a full burger meal, finished in a pastel palette of blue, pink and yellow.

The set also includes wooden fries in a striped box and a drink cup with a lid, so a whole order can be put together and handed over.

Burger Assembly for Restaurant Role-Play

The burger is made of stackable pieces: a sesame seed bun, a patty, and separate lettuce, tomato and cheese. Children can build it layer by layer, change the order, and take it apart again. It is a straightforward way to practise sequencing and sorting while playing.

Wooden utensils are also mentioned in the product description, which adds a little more to the serving routine. Edges are smooth and sanded, and the wood is finished with non-toxic paint.

• Recommended for ages 3 to 12
• Supports pretend kitchen play and restaurant role-play
• Lets children handle each burger layer separately
• Includes fries, a striped box and a lidded drink cup

For a group game, one child can be the cook and another the customer, while an older child writes the orders. Younger children may prefer simply stacking and unstacking the layers, and it is easy for them to join in as a wooden pretend food set for play alongside other kitchen toys.
